So I thought it would be a good idea for a few holiday pot holders, so I started my designing in August, but in September learned I had to move and between shopping for places to live, moving and lots other of life’s extras challenges, I just wasn’t able to make the patterns in time for this years holiday making.
Anyways, I made this one and I think it turned out cool. It is going to be for my Realtor, who was a super cool lady. I had several versions of this and almost made it say ‘peace’ in the present area, but decided it would be too busy.
Making just a few stitches have reverse lettering was much easier to design
These photos are of the pre-washed and un-blocked pot holder.
It is pretty large: 7-1/2″wide x 8 5/8″ tall (pre-washed)… Yikes – lol. I hope it shrinks a lot more than usual. Still good for big hands or for a larger trivet which might be useful for a large hot roast pan.
